Amazon Key Could Change Real Estate

So many new changes are coming to real estate, and many of these changes will help buyers and sellers. The new Amazon Key takes the place of a traditional lock and key. A seller can install a smart deadbolt and camera, and these then link to the Amazon Key app. The seller can then grant access to others remotely from their phone. This can certainly make life easy for realtors and buyers when seeking to tour homes. The Amazon Key system also includes a recording device, and then the seller can see who is coming and going. This system has been available since November 2017 and we’re not seeing too many of them yet. We’ll have to wait and see if this catches on and augments the lockbox system currently in use by realtors.
