Realtor.com projects the Phoenix area to be the strongest housing market in the U.S. in 2017. That includes neighboring Scottsdale and Mesa as well.
With sales growth at 7.2 percent and price gains of 5.9 percent, Phoenix ranks first, Los Angeles second, Boston third, followed by Sacramento and Riverside rounding out the top five. Western cities also dominate the list of the top 10. A total of 100 markets were analyzed across the nation.
The national forecast for home prices indicates a 3.9 percent gain, which is slower than the past couple of years. But the Phoenix area skyrocketed well beyond those figures.
What’s fueling these numbers to make the West the best? Strong economies and population growth that includes both millennials and boomers, and low unemployment that’s continuing its downturn are among the reasons. Together, they’re building consumer confidence.
This is the time to buy, because home buyers, particularly those seeking Scottsdale luxury homes or luxury living the Valley of the Sun’s surrounding upscale communities, will benefit from a strong Phoenix market fueled by a growing economy that assures not only strength and stability but also extreme value for your Arizona real estate investment, made even stronger when you have an exclusive Arizona Buyer’s Agent by your side.
